Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account — name, email (e.g. via Google sign-in), business name, trade, service states, license fields you submit.
• Product use — addresses you check or report, structured report fields, optional notes, credit ledger entries.
• Billing — handled by Stripe. We store Stripe customer/subscription ids and status, not full card numbers.
• Location (optional) — if you allow browser location for the nearby-coverage banner, we use coordinates for a one-time distance count. We do not store your GPS on your profile for that feature.
• Technical — standard server logs (IP, user agent) for security and debugging.

How we use it

To operate the Service: authentication, verification, subscriptions, credit balances, address aggregates for peer checks, abuse prevention, and improving the product. We do not sell your personal information as a data broker product.

Who we share with

• Stripe — payments and subscription management.
• Hosting / database providers (e.g. Vercel, Neon) that process data to run the app.
• Google — if you sign in with Google (their OAuth flow).
• Legal requests when required by law.

Other contractors see aggregated job-site signals for addresses, not your identity as the default presentation of a check result.

Retention

We keep account and report data while your account is active and as needed for the Service, legal, or security purposes. You may request account deletion by contacting us; some records may be retained where required (e.g. billing history).

Your choices

You can update profile fields in the app, cancel a paid subscription via the billing portal, deny browser location, and sign out. Contact us to request access or deletion of personal data we hold.

Security

We use industry-standard hosting practices and HTTPS. No method of transmission is 100% secure.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change. Material changes may be noted in the product.
